I have forgotten my user name and password, and I have switched email addresses. What do I do?
If you previously submitted a resume under an email address that you no longer have access to, please send us an email that includes:

— your new email address
— your previous email address
— your physical address: Your Name, Street, State and Zip
— your phone number

Once this information is verified, we will update your records and email your new user name and password.

How do I become a JobSurfer?
To register as a JobSurfer click on the “Join GolfSurfin” link on our home page. There will be instructions on how to complete the registration process on each preceding page.

How long does it take to complete my registration?
You will be able to logon as a JobSurfer member immediately.

Do you sell my email address?
We will never sell your email address to a third party. See Privacy Statement.

Do I need to register to search for a job?
Yes. You need to Join GolfSurfin to search for jobs.

What is “My JobSurfer”?
My JobSurfer is your personalized information and criteria. It allows you to:

  • Post and edit your resume.
  • Search for jobs and create job-search shortcuts
  • Apply for jobs.
  • Register for job email notifications.
  • Track the jobs you’ve applied for.
  • Track the number of hits your resume has received.
  • Subscribe/Unsubscribe to any services.

What do I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, click the link that reads “forget password?” located next to the login button. Then follow the instructions on the preceding page. Your password will be automatically sent to you via email.

How do I change my email address, profile and contact information, member name or password?
You can make updates and modifications to your user profile through “My JobSurfer”. Click the link “Change My User Profile” and you will be able to change all of your information and modify your settings.

Why must I provide my email address?
All contact with you and potential employers are made via email.

What is the purpose of the Resume Bank?
GolfSurfin.com’s Resume Bank is used by our job seekers to save their resumes. In the near future, it will also be used by our employer members to search for qualified candidates. There are two levels for your resume: active and inactive.

What Are Active Resumes?
A Resume marked "Active" will be able to be viewed by our employer members when this service becomes active.

What Are Inactive Resumes?
When you get a job, you'll make your resume inactive. This will prevent you from being contacted by prospective employers.

How do I post my resume?
When you Join GolfSurfin.com, you’ll see a "Post Resume" link. There are step-by-step instructions for posting your resume on the form itself. Remember... job seekers can Join GolfSurfin.com for FREE! If you are already a member, just login with your username and password, then click the "Post Resume" link.

How long will my resume be posted?
Your resume will remain posted for 6 months or until you remove it. You may renew your resume posting at any time. If you do not renew, your resume will be deleted 6 months after it was posted. You will get an email notice 10 days before your resume is deleted.

How do I respond to a job?
You can view the job details and respond by using the "Apply for Job" link. Your application will be forwarded to the employer immediately. Here's how you can start searching for your new career today:

What is the Job Notification Agent?
You can create automatic Job Notification Agents that email you when a job listing matches your criteria. Instructions on how to create Job Notification Agents and manage this function are on the Search For Golf Jobs page itself.
